About MEOriginally from the US, I moved to London nearly five years ago and have since earned permanent residency in the UK. I have a BA with honours in journalism and creative writing from the State University of New York.
While at university, I participated in a three-month internship at a local newspaper, where I covered news and features in the area, many of which appeared on the front page. I later travelled to London for a six-month internship at Intersection magazine, writing about cars and fashion. I'm currently the deputy editor at PA Life, where I've been for more than two years. As part of a team of two, I've had the chance to improve my writing skills, as well as gain knowledge of magazine production, including design, sub-editing, commissioning and printing. I'm also largely responsible for the magazine's website, where I've had the chance to use SEO and social media to boost monthly hits. I've also had the privilege to help the magazine win an award for “Best PA Industry Magazine of the Year” in 2014, an award we're up for again this year.
